08/02/2018: UNITED WAY OF HENRY COUNTY & MARTINSVILLE UNVEILS A NEW AWARD

United Way of Henry County & Martinsville unveiled a new award, the Worth H. Carter Jr. Legacy Award, at its Annual Meeting recently. According to United Way, “This award will not be presented every year, as it is meant to recognize commitment to the community that goes above and beyond what any normal person would expect.”

This inaugural award was given to Carter Bank & Trust for our commitment to carrying on the legacy of Mr. Carter for his longstanding support to the communities of Martinsville and Henry County.

We also were the recipient of United Way’s Employee Leadership Award for outstanding leadership level giving ($600 or more).
